FAQ

Questions traders ask.

What is Swiftedge?

Swiftedge is a Danish company, Swiftedge ApS, that builds free order flow tools for Bitcoin, gold, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, US 500, US 100, silver and WTI crude oil traders: Swiftedge Depth, a live futures order book heatmap with candlesticks and a footprint chart, Swiftedge Positioning, leveraged positions by price level, and Swiftedge Terminal, up to 16 live panels on one screen, all in the browser. Swiftedge Alerts reach you by push, Telegram or webhook even when the site is closed. Swiftedge also publishes daily BTC, gold, ETH, SOL, XRP, US500, US100, XAG and WTI market structure reports and the SwiftEdge indicators on TradingView.

What is Swiftedge Depth?

Swiftedge Depth is a free, browser-based order flow tool for Bitcoin, gold, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, US 500, US 100, silver and WTI crude oil. It shows the live Bitcoin, gold, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, US 500, US 100, silver and WTI crude oil perpetual futures order book as a heatmap, draws every trade as a bubble sized by volume, shows price as a line, candlesticks or a footprint chart, and adds stacked imbalance zones, a built-in market read (Mentor), session levels (Session Orbs), Positioning levels on the crypto markets, CVD and 26 drawing tools, with price and wall alerts. It updates four times a second and needs no download or account.

What is Swiftedge Positioning?

Swiftedge Positioning is the Positioning app (/options) and a page of its own (BTC, Gold, ETH, SOL, XRP, US 500, US 100, Silver, WTI); for gold it is also the layer in Depth and the Terminal. It gathers public open positions in the perpetual futures by price level and shows where leveraged positions would be liquidated: the upper wall and lower wall (the largest walls of liquidations and resting orders above and below the price), the flip (the balance point between longs and shorts), fast walls (the biggest resting order walls in the order book within 3 % of price, updated every minute), max liquidation (the price where the most positions would be liquidated) and the long/short ratio from real positions.

What is Swiftedge Terminal?

Swiftedge Terminal is a free, keyboard-first trading terminal for Bitcoin, gold, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, US 500, US 100, silver and WTI crude oil in the browser, with up to 16 live panels in seven ready layouts or your own. One screen shows a price chart from 1 minute to 1 day with zoom and drawing tools, the order book ladder, time and sales, liquidations, funding and open interest, Positioning, crypto news and a market calendar with FOMC meetings. Click any price to mark it on the chart, or type a command such as ETH LIQ. Open the Terminal.

Are the upper wall, lower wall and flip exact?

No, they are estimates from part of the market's positions. Traders can add margin, close positions or be hedged elsewhere, so treat the levels as estimated positioning, not measured fact. Wallet addresses are never shown or stored.

Can I set alerts and share what I see?

Yes. Depth and the Terminal have price alerts with sound and browser notifications while the tab is open, and Depth adds large-wall alerts. Swiftedge Alerts work when the tab is closed, by browser push, Telegram or webhook: price, whale trades, liquidations, CVD divergence and stacked imbalances. Share turns any moment in Depth into an image card with a link for X, Facebook, Reddit, Telegram, Instagram and more. A live chat runs alongside the apps.

Is Swiftedge free?

Yes. Depth, Positioning, the Terminal, alerts and every report are free and need no sign-up. Swiftedge is paid for by clearly marked sponsor placements and voluntary support; there is no paid plan.

Is there a free alternative to Bookmap for Bitcoin?

Swiftedge Depth is a free Bookmap-style order book heatmap for Bitcoin, gold, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, US 500, US 100, silver and WTI crude oil that runs in the browser with no account and no download. It covers the Bitcoin, gold, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, US 500, US 100, silver and WTI crude oil perpetual futures only; platforms such as Bookmap cover many more markets and exchanges. What Depth does and does not do.

Which markets and data does Swiftedge use?

Depth shows Bitcoin, gold, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, US 500, US 100, silver and WTI crude oil perpetual futures: the order book out to about 2 % from price, every trade, and at least the last 24 hours of history. Everything Swiftedge shows is its own calculation on public perpetual futures data from Hyperliquid and Lighter; the FAQ lists every source.

Does Swiftedge support Ethereum?

Yes. Everything that exists for Bitcoin also exists for Ethereum: the ETH order book heatmap with liquidations, Mentor, Session Orbs and Positioning, ETH positioning, the daily and weekly ETH reports, ETH levels and the ETH liquidation heatmap. Switch coin in the top bar of Depth or the Terminal.

Does Swiftedge support Solana?

Yes. Every Bitcoin and Ethereum tool also exists for Solana: the SOL order book heatmap with candlesticks, a footprint chart and liquidations, the Terminal, the daily and weekly SOL reports, SOL levels, the liquidation heatmap, funding, SOL positioning and realized volatility.

Does Swiftedge cover gold?

Yes. Gold has the same live tools as Bitcoin, built on the gold perpetual (XAU): the gold order book heatmap with candlesticks, a footprint chart and liquidations, the Terminal, the daily and weekly gold reports, gold levels, the liquidation heatmap, funding (every hour) and open interest, plus pages of its own for trading sessions, macro and the COT report. The gold perpetual is a perpetual future, not spot gold: spot gold closes at the weekend and for an hour every weekday, and Swiftedge marks it.

Is Swiftedge financial advice?

No. Swiftedge shows market data and descriptive analysis for information and education. It does not give buy or sell recommendations or forecasts, and trading involves substantial risk of loss.
