Can TradingView show a Bitcoin order book heatmap?
TradingView can show the live order book for some symbols in its Depth of Market (DOM) window, when you are connected to a broker that supplies Level 2 data. What it does not describe is a heatmap of the book's history: where large orders sat over the last hours and what happened to them. That is what Swiftedge Depth draws, free, in a browser tab next to your chart.
What TradingView offers
From TradingView's support page on Level 2 data, checked on 19 October 2026 (How do I get level 2 data?):
- Level 2 is shown in the DOM window and comes from the broker, so the broker has to be connected.
- It is available for a limited number of symbols.
- Crypto brokers on the list include Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase Advanced, Bitget, MEXC, HTX, Phemex and others.
- The page describes the live DOM; it does not mention a heatmap of order book history.

Common questions
Does TradingView have an order book heatmap for Bitcoin?
TradingView's support page describes live Level 2 in the DOM window through a connected broker. It does not mention a heatmap of the book's history. Swiftedge Depth shows that history for the BTCUSDT perpetual on Binance.
Do I need a TradingView plan or a broker account for Swiftedge?
No. Swiftedge Depth runs in the browser with no account and no broker connection.
Can I put the Swiftedge heatmap on my TradingView chart?
Not as one chart. Depth runs on swiftedge.uk; most traders keep it in a second tab or window next to TradingView.
