How the map is made
- Open interest every 5 minutes from Binance, Bybit and OKX (SOL perpetual futures), added together.
- When open interest rises, new positions were opened at that window's average price, split into longs and shorts by aggressive buying and selling on Binance.
- Assumed leverage mix for new positions: 5x (10 %), 10x (25 %), 25x (30 %), 50x (25 %), 100x (10 %), with a 0.5 % maintenance margin.
- When open interest falls, all open levels shrink by the same share. When price trades through a level, it is removed.
- The model runs over the last 10 days so older positions are included; the map shows the last seven.
These are assumptions. Real leverage and how traders close positions are not public, so treat the bands as estimates. For liquidations that really happened, see Solana liquidations today.

FAQ
What is a Solana liquidation heatmap?
A map of the prices where leveraged Solana futures positions would be closed by force if price got there. Bright bands mean more estimated liquidations at that price. Below the price they are long positions, above the price short positions.
Is this real data?
The inputs are real: open interest, prices and trade flow from Binance, Bybit and OKX. The levels are an estimate. Exchanges do not publish where each position would be liquidated, so the map assumes how much leverage new positions use. Every liquidation heatmap works this way; we show our assumptions and check the result against real liquidations.
How is it calculated?
When open interest rises in a 5-minute window, new positions were opened at that window's price. They are split into longs and shorts by the share of aggressive buying and selling on Binance in the same window, and spread over a fixed leverage mix (5x, 10x, 25x, 50x and 100x). Each one gets a liquidation price. When open interest falls, all open levels shrink by the same share. When price trades through a level, it is removed, because those positions were liquidated.
Will price move to the brightest band?
The map shows where forced orders would sit, not where price will go. Large clusters are often talked about as magnets; this page does not claim that. It is a description of estimated positioning, not a forecast or advice.
Why is it different from CoinGlass or Hyblock?
Each site uses its own assumptions for leverage and for how positions close, and its own exchanges. That changes where the bands sit and how bright they are. Ours is free, needs no sign-up, and shows how well it lined up with real liquidations.
How often is it updated?
Every 5 minutes, also while the page is open. Each column on the map is 15 minutes, and the map covers the last seven days.
Can I zoom in and out?
Yes. Scroll on the map to zoom in time, hold Shift or scroll over the price axis to zoom the price, drag to move around and double-click to go back. On a phone, drag with one finger and pinch with two. The 12H, 1D, 3D and 7D buttons jump to a time range.
What do the leverage buttons do?
The model gives every new position one of five leverage levels (5x, 10x, 25x, 50x or 100x). Switch levels off to see where only the rest would be liquidated, for example only 50x and 100x, which sit closest to the price.
