How to read the positioning chart
Each bar is one price level. Bars to the right (teal) are above the price: large sell orders and shorts that would be liquidated if the price got there, which means forced buying. Bars to the left (pink) are below the price: large buy orders and longs that would be liquidated, which means forced selling. The largest bar on each side is the upper and lower wall.
Order book shows only the resting orders close to the price (the fast walls). Liquidations shows only where leveraged positions would be closed. The flip is the price where the share of longs at risk below equals the share of shorts at risk above.
How it is calculated
- Open positions with their liquidation price, refreshed continuously, grouped by price level in USD.
- The resting order book within 3 % of the price, in USD per price level, smoothed over a few minutes.
- Upper and lower wall: the largest level above and below the price. Fast walls: the largest order-book levels.
- Max liquidation: the price that would close the most positions if the market traded there.

FAQ
What is positioning?
It shows where leveraged Solana positions would be forced to close (their liquidation prices) and where large orders rest in the order book, at every price level around the market, in USD.
What are the upper and lower walls?

What is the flip?
The price where the share of long positions at risk below equals the share of short positions at risk above. Above the flip, more shorts are in the way; below it, more longs.
