Open DepthMethod. Price, volume and order book from gold perpetual futures (quantities in troy ounces, oz). The perpetual trades 24/7; spot gold has trading hours, and the sessions, the clock and the closed-market notes follow the CME Globex calendar (New York time) and the LBMA auction times (London time). The clock shows our gold perpetual price at those times, not the LBMA auction price or the COMEX settlement price. Macro releases: FRED release dates and the Federal Reserve's FOMC calendar. A wall is "held" when trades hit it and price turned, "pulled" when it vanished within seconds with almost nothing traded, "eaten" when most of it was traded away. Times are New York time (ET), with UTC in brackets. Updated 01 Nov 11:05 PM ET the evening before (03:05 UTC).
