TensorCharts and Swiftedge compared
TensorCharts is a browser order flow chart built around an order book heatmap and a trades heatmap. Swiftedge Depth is a free browser tool for the live Bitcoin, gold, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, US 500, US 100, silver and WTI crude oil perpetual futures order book, with every trade as a bubble, a footprint chart and 30+ indicators, and no account needed.
What TensorCharts offers
tensorcharts.com did not load when we checked on 31 October 2026 (the server returned an error), so we could not see its current plans, prices or markets. The points below come from TensorCharts' own manual at docs.tensorcharts.com, whose articles are dated May 2019, so details may have changed since:
- Order book heatmap. Historical order book snapshots drawn as a heatmap, brighter where more limit orders rest, with a minimum-volume filter and two color maps.
- Trades heatmap. TensorCharts' footprint: buying and selling, or the delta, at each price inside each candle.
- Large Trades Tracker. The largest trades as green and red bubbles on the price chart, with a size filter.
- Studies. Volume profile (current range, fixed range, sessions and delta), VWAP, CVD, SMA, EMA and support and resistance levels.
- Scripting. A scripting module in JavaScript that reads the loaded data, can draw price lines and can send sound or browser alerts.
- Timeframes. 1 day, 4 hours, 1 hour, 15 minutes and 5 minutes, plus a real-time chart rebuilt from the live order book.
- Markets. The manual says its list covers most major crypto exchanges and coins.

The difference that matters
Trades on the book. Both draw the order book as a heatmap. Depth adds a new column four times a second and draws every trade as a bubble where it hit the book, so you can see whether a wall held, was eaten or was pulled. Order flow bubbles, explained.
Timeframes. TensorCharts' manual lists heatmap timeframes from 5 minutes to 1 day plus a real-time chart. Depth has candlesticks from 1 second to 4 hours and a footprint from 5 seconds to 1 hour, or auto from the zoom.
Code and coverage. TensorCharts has a JavaScript scripting module and, by its manual, most major crypto exchanges. Swiftedge has no scripting and covers fewer markets.
Which one fits
- TensorCharts fits when you want its heatmaps across many crypto exchanges and coins and like to script your own analysis in JavaScript.
- Swiftedge fits when you want the live perpetual futures order book with every trade, a footprint chart, Positioning and free alerts, with no account, on desktop or phone.
Common questions
Is Swiftedge a free alternative to TensorCharts?
For a live order book heatmap with every trade and a footprint chart, yes: Swiftedge Depth is free and needs no account. It has no scripting module and covers fewer markets.
Was TensorCharts online on 31 October 2026?
When we checked tensorcharts.com on 31 October 2026 it did not load and returned a server error, while its manual at docs.tensorcharts.com was online. We could not check its current plans or prices.
Does Swiftedge show large trades as bubbles?
Yes, and every smaller trade too. Depth draws every trade as a bubble sized by volume and colored by the aggressive side, with a minimum size filter, aggregation and Executions markers for unusually large trades.
Where does Swiftedge's data come from?
Swiftedge reads public perpetual futures data from Hyperliquid and Lighter: the order book and every trade with its aggressor side. Everything shown is Swiftedge's own calculation.
