Put/call ratio by expiry
Each bar is one expiry, open interest on Deribit, OKX and Bybit added together. Short daily expiries often swing far from 1; the monthly and quarterly expiries hold most of the open interest and move more slowly.
| Expiry | Type | Calls, SOL | Puts, SOL | Put/call | Notional | 24 h volume P/C |

Put/call ratio by exchange
| Exchange | Calls OI | Puts OI | OI put/call | Share | Calls 24 h | Puts 24 h | Volume P/C |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deribit | 537,490 | 416,450 | 0.77 | 88 % | 20,050 | 30,970 | 1.54 |
| OKX (small) | 7 | 299 | 42.76 | 0 % | 2,053 | 232 | 0.11 |
| Bybit | 79,283 | 46,448 | 0.59 | 12 % | 65,147 | 31,754 | 0.49 |
Deribit holds most of the open interest, so it sets the combined figure; OKX and Bybit often lean differently. An exchange marked "small" has under 1 % of the open interest, so its ratio says little.

How to read the put/call ratio
- Compare the ratio with its own history and between expiries rather than with a fixed number.
- A put/call ratio counts contracts, not direction: every option has a buyer and a seller. Who holds them is not public.
- Daily expiries are small and jump around; the monthly and quarterly expiries carry the weight.
- Volume put/call shows today's flow; open interest put/call shows the positions that are still open.
This page describes positioning. It is not a forecast, a signal or financial advice.
How the numbers are calculated
- Take open interest for every Solana option on Deribit, OKX and Bybit, in SOL.
- Add up calls and puts for each expiry, for each exchange and for all expiries together. Expiries that have already settled are left out.
- Put/call ratio = puts ÷ calls.
- Volume put/call: every option trade on the three exchanges over the last 24 hours, SOL of puts ÷ SOL of calls.

FAQ
What is the Solana put/call ratio today?
The Solana put/call ratio is 0.75 by open interest (28 October 2026, 08:02 UTC): 463,197 SOL in open puts against 616,780 SOL in open calls, all expiries on Deribit, OKX and Bybit added together. Over the last 24 hours, 62,956 SOL of puts and 87,250 SOL of calls traded, a volume put/call ratio of 0.72.
How is the put/call ratio calculated?
Open interest put/call ratio = open interest in puts divided by open interest in calls, counted in SOL of underlying. Volume put/call ratio = SOL of puts traded divided by SOL of calls traded over the last 24 hours. We add Deribit, OKX and Bybit together and also show each exchange and each expiry on its own.
What does a high or low put/call ratio mean?
Above 1 means more puts than calls are open; below 1 means more calls. It counts positions, not who bought or sold them: a put can be a hedge bought by a holder or an income trade sold by someone collecting premium, so a high ratio is not automatically bearish. It is most useful compared with its own history and across expiries. It is descriptive data, not a signal or advice.
What is the difference between open interest and volume put/call ratio?
Open interest counts every option still open, so it changes slowly and shows how the market is positioned. Volume counts what traded in the last 24 hours, so it reacts to today's flow and can swing a lot, especially around an expiry.
Why is the put/call ratio different on other sites?
Many sites show Deribit only, or one expiry, or volume instead of open interest. Deribit holds most Solana options, but OKX and Bybit often lean differently, so the combined figure here can differ from a Deribit-only number. The table by exchange shows each one.
